FolderIco 1.0

FolderIco allows to customize the icon of every Windows folder in one click! Give some color to Windows folders: with just a click, colorize your folders, and discover a new intuitive way to classify your files. A quick look is now enough to identify the folder you are looking for!

You can classify your folders by priority. Red is an important folder, orange is urgent, green is no action needed... Choose the attributes that you like, so you'll never delete an important folder in error.

Allow to have colours and emblems at the same time.

Right now it doesn't allow you to have colours and emblems at the same time, it's either one thing or the other. Somebody may find useful to have a coloured folder and add an emblem to it.

It should integrate into Windows Explorer replacements such as xplorer2, not just Windows Explorer.

It does what it says on the tin however, I think it could be improved by having more choice. It has various colours but themes would be nice. You may be a Star Trek fan or a dog lover or have an over enthusiastic perchant for confectionary so little

Better if there is the option to self-arrange or group icons ourselves on the menu, adding or removing icons, etc.

Be able to change language after it did not install the language I have chosen

Warn the user when he doesn't have enough priviledges to make the change.

Right now whether the user is privileged enough of not FolderIco doesn't warn him/her, but you can see the icon didn't change at all. It would be nice to warn the user about not being able to change that folder, maybe even asking if he/she'd like...

have added a New Folder(s) Batch Creation-mode, based on some text template. Creating a New Folder(s) array already customized would save lots of time, and ensure uniformity in one's File Management

Category Program

Make a program to show every folder that has the icon changed in a list and categorise them, with filters, remove or change icon option, etc.

Excellent choice of customization; portable not needed (that's not how this utility works); retail price could be slightly increased to about 25 USD (the price of two 'hamburgers' in the States)

Change sub-folders from the level of the folder. E.g., add a 'music' icon to all 300 music album sub-folders from the main music folder.

add my own icons to the choices

That's it for the folder itself. As for colors, there are any number of the 2 Billion palettes out there that will let you tweak the RGB components to HTML equivalents.

I love its compactness, but it would be great if it had more functions. This version should be free because of the limits of its functions.
